Biocogen is a biogas CHP installation located on the premises of VPK, a leading European packaging producer. Polluted water coming from VPK's production proces is purified via a bacterial proces which produces biogas. The heat produced by the CHP installation is consumed by VPK. Eectricity is sold to the grid or on to an electricity provider. This CHP plant also produces green and CHP certificates that can be traded afterwards.
