Antwerp – Thenergo (Euronext Brussels: THEB), a leading developer and operator of decentralized clean energy projects, announces that Thenergo nv and Carl Malbrain bvba, represented by Carl Malbrain, have decided, by mutual agreement and in good understanding, to end the cooperation. Carl Malbrain decided to renounce his function as executive member of the Board of Directors. He will be leaving the company with immediate effect.
“Due to a diversity of opinion, Thenergo and Carl Malbrain jointly decided to end the cooperation. We thank Carl Malbrain for bringing his expertise and dedication in developing Thenergo.” said Norbert Van Leuffel, Chairman of the Thenergo Board. “The current management will take up extended responsibilities under my supervision until a new CEO is appointed.”
Today, the Board of Directors co-opted Yann Massoulier as non-executive director of the Thenergo board. The confirmation of the co-optation will be presented at the following General Meeting of shareholders. Yann Massoulier is head of the energy department at Hestiun Ltd. and has an international management track record.
